Growen — Terms of Service

Operator: Dijimania provides the Growen mobile application and related services ("Growen," "we," "us").
You: the person who downloads or uses Growen.

By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using Growen, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Growen is a houseplant companion app. It may include features such as plant identification from photos, care reminders, a personal plant collection ("garden"), and—depending on your plan—additional tools such as diagnosis-style guidance.

Not professional advice: Content, suggestions, and any plant-health-style outputs are informational and educational only. They are not a substitute for on-site assessment by a qualified professional (for example, a plant clinic, lab, or agricultural consultant). We do not warrant that any recommendation will achieve a particular result.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live (and at least the age required by the app store you use from). You are responsible for:

  • the accuracy of information you provide;
  • keeping your sign-in method (e.g. access to the email you use for one-time login codes) secure;
  • all activity on your account.

3. User content

You may upload or submit text and images (for example, plant photos). You retain your rights, but you grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that content as needed to run Growen (including storage, sync, and generating in-app results). You confirm you have the right to share that content and that it does not violate law or others' rights.

We may remove content or restrict use where we reasonably believe it is necessary for safety, abuse prevention, or legal compliance.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and free features

Paid plans (such as "Growen Plus") and in-app purchases, when available, are processed by the app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) and/or our payment/entitlement partners as shown in the app.

Prices, tax, renewals, and cancellation are governed by the app store and the purchase flow you complete. We do not control those platforms' terms. You can manage and cancel subscriptions through the store account you used.

Some features may be free with limits; we may change free limits or product packaging with reasonable notice where required by law or store rules.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law or infringe others' rights;
  • try to break, hack, or overload the app or our systems;
  • reverse engineer the app except as permitted by law;
  • use Growen to distribute malware or abusive material;
  • access or attempt to access other users' data without authorization.

6. Intellectual property

Growen, its branding, and its software are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app as intended. No licence is granted except as expressly stated.

7. Service changes and availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features or the entire service, with or without notice, where we have a good reason (for example, security, cost, or legal requirements). The app is provided "as is"; we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dijimania and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Growen.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service is—unless mandatory law says otherwise—limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the paid portion of the service in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) zero if you have not paid anything. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law (including, where applicable, death or personal injury caused by gross negligence, or fraud).

9. Account deactivation and data

If you use Delete Account in the app, your account is deactivated and you are signed out. We may retain certain records (for example, profile, plant, and activity-related data) for support, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and audit purposes instead of immediately erasing all data. See the Privacy Policy for more detail and your options.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless your mandatory local consumer rights require otherwise.

Courts in Istanbul, Turkey have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes, subject to any non-waivable right you may have to bring claims in your home country as a consumer under applicable law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example, in-app notice or email). Your continued use after the effective date of changes means you accept the updated Terms, except where the law requires your explicit consent or a stricter process.
